Overview
As a Project Engineer at Abonmarche in Grand Rapids, you will serve as the client's project champion, ensuring goals and schedules are met while coordinating with staff. You'll lead kickoff, progress, and client meetings and collaborate with business development to pursue opportunities. You'll establish team roles, schedules, and budgets, monitor scope and progress, and produce status updates. - Act as the client's project champion and coordinate with Abonmarche staff to meet goals and budgets
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and subcontracts
- Set project deadlines and track progress, including permits and deliverables
- Lead kickoff, progress, and client meetings
- Collaborate with Business Development to identify and pursue opportunities
- Define team roles, project schedules, and budgets for new projects
- Monitor budgets and scope of work
- Review plans and reports to ensure client needs are met
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Michigan
- 5+ years of civil engineering experience
- Project management experience preferred across municipal, roadway, sewer, water, trails, or site design projects
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently or in a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs
