Overview
In this role you will support transportation infrastructure projects across Michigan within the Highways & Traffic Engineering group. You will contribute to highway/roadway design, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help deliver quality design documents and cost estimates. You'll mentor junior engineers and participate in field investigations, shaping safer and more efficient road networks. This position offers growth through hands-on design work and exposure to MDOT projects and state/local road programs.

- Support highway/roadway design and plan development
- Assist project managers in budgets, scopes, and schedules
- Prepare complete project documents independently
- Analyze data, solve design-related problems

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 4+ years of highway/roadway design experience
- EIT certification required; PE license preferred
- MicroStation, Geopak/InRoads, and OpenRoads experience required
- AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus
- MDOT project experience is a plus
