
Guest Services Associate
As a Guest Services Associate (GSA), you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable experience. Your responsibilities will include providing assistance to guests, answering inquiries, checking in and out guests, and managing payments while adhering to company protocols. Additionally, you will be tasked with completing essential front office paperwork and maintaining safety and security standards for both our guests and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Commit to providing an exceptional experience for every guest.
- Respond to guest requests with diligence and follow-up.
- Empower yourself to resolve guest concerns through our Make it Right process while exemplifying our service culture.
- Process reservations, check-ins, payments, and check-outs in line with company procedures.
- Handle collection efforts for in-house balances and maintain accuracy in cash, credit card, and city ledger accounts.
- Set up and maintain a tidy breakfast display promptly each day.
- Keep the front desk, lobby, and common areas organized and clean as per company standards.
- Promote ESA’s value to potential guests and convert inquiries into reservations.
- Gather relevant guest information for potential sales opportunities.
- Tour the property periodically to ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Provide reasonable accommodations for guest requests whenever possible.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, including safety and key control procedures.
Additional Duties
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness throughout the hotel, including the front desk, guest common areas, and associate spaces.
- Engage in cross-training with housekeeping and laundry teams as necessary.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
You will need to be proficient in spoken English to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and vendors. Furthermore, training in property management systems will be provided. Your role may require occasional handling of equipment up to 50 pounds and navigating various areas of the property in different weather conditions.
