We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead new product development, engineering operations, and product launches within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This individual will oversee engineering teams, drive product development initiatives, and ensure successful transitions from concept and design through production launch and full-scale manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers responsible for new product development, manufacturing engineering, and product launches.
• Oversee the complete product development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through validation, launch, and production ramp-up.
• Manage multiple engineering projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality standards, and customer requirements are met.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Development teams to ensure successful product introductions.
• Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM), process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee tooling, equipment, automation, and manufacturing process development to support high-volume production.
• Lead engineering problem-solving efforts, root cause analysis, and corrective actions during product launches.
• Establish engineering KPIs and monitor project performance, manufacturing efficiency, and launch readiness.
• Identify opportunities to improve product quality, reduce manufacturing costs, and increase production capacity.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and performance management for engineering personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 7-10 years of engineering experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Previous engineering leadership or management experience, including direct supervision of technical teams.
• Demonstrated success leading new product development (NPD), new product introduction (NPI), and production launches.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, automation, and production equipment.
• Experience managing engineering projects from concept through full-scale production.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, or similar product launch and quality methodologies preferred.
• Strong project management, organizational, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Ability to balance strategic engineering initiatives with hands-on technical problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
