Accountabilities

  • Establish and oversee clinical assurance frameworks, ensuring compliance with policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the end-to-end quality function, focusing on scheduling, oversight, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide clinical leadership for coaching efforts, establishing priorities and maintaining consistency among Clinical Support Coaches.
  • Utilize management information, quality outcomes, and qualitative insights to identify systemic risks, implement targeted interventions, and monitor the effects on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage a team of Clinical Delivery/SB Leads and Clinical Content Developers, enhancing capabilities, coaching leaders, and maintaining operational effectiveness.
  • Chair and attend key governance meetings, acting as an escalation point for complex clinical issues beyond operational control and coordinating cross-functional recovery plans.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, such as DWP, to align expectations and drive improvements in the benefit area.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Qualified health professional with active registration and compliance with continuous professional development requirements.
  • Experienced Disability Analyst in relevant benefit type with consistent performance in key responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership in clinical audit and assurance functions.
  • Proven capability in supporting and developing clinical teams or leading clinical change initiatives with successful outcomes.
  • Experience in creating and executing action plans for improved quality and performance.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Effective stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and guide proactive decision-making.

Desirable

  • Management experience leading a multidisciplinary clinical team.
  • Experience in a multidisciplinary environment fostering positive relationships across clinical and operational areas.

Travel Requirements

National travel to Assessment Centres for supporting health professionals and attending key meetings as required.
