Job Description

A production filming in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area is urgently seeking an experienced First Assistant Director (1st AD) to replace a crew member who had to step away due to a family emergency. The selected candidate will begin as soon as possible, with prep and location scouting taking place this weekend before production begins next week.

Job Responsibilities

Serve as the First Assistant Director during production.

Participate in prep and location scouting activities.

Coordinate with the production team to keep filming on schedule.

Support daily production operations on set.

Requirements

Previous experience as a First Assistant Director preferred.

Available to begin immediately.

Able to participate in weekend prep and scouting.

Local to Grand Rapids, MI, or willing to travel from nearby cities such as Detroit or Chicago.
