Job Summary
We are actively seeking elite retail operators to step into the role of Store Director. You will be responsible for the financial, operational, and cultural success of your location. You will serve as the chief visionary, delivering the signature operational excellence that sets Stop & Shop apart in the supermarket industry. This is an executive-level position requiring immense stamina, strategic thinking, and emotional intelligence.
Comprehensive Responsibilities
- Executive Oversight: Manage all aspects of a $30M+ annual revenue business, from supply chain logistics at the back door to the final customer transaction at the front lanes.
- Financial Stewardship: Analyze complex P&L statements, implement aggressive shrink-reduction programs, and strictly manage payroll budgets to maximize EBITDA.
- Cultural Leadership: Build a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for a diverse team of union and non-union associates, managing labor relations effectively.
- Merchandising Standards: Ensure the store always meets "Grand Opening" standards, with full shelves, immaculate floors, and highly attractive fresh food displays.
