Regional Clinical Director | Pennsylvania

Cardinal Senior Living is looking for a Regional Clinical Director to strengthen clinical performance across our Pennsylvania communities.

This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role for an experienced LPN or RN who knows senior living, develops strong clinical leaders, sees problems before they become bigger problems, and enjoys turning inconsistent practices into strong, repeatable systems.

You’ll partner closely with our Directors of Wellness, Executive Directors, and Regional Director of Operations to improve resident care, strengthen clinical execution, develop leaders, and reduce risk across the region.

• Coach leaders and watch them become more capable and independent


• Get into the field instead of leading from behind a desk


• Find the root cause instead of repeatedly fixing the same problem


• Bring consistency to clinical processes across multiple communities


• Solve difficult resident-care and operational challenges


• Spot risk early and drive corrective action through completion


• Build better systems, tools, and training when something isn’t working


• Partner with operations and understand that great clinical performance drives great community performance


• Own your work without needing someone to tell you what to do next

You’ll serve as the clinical subject matter expert for Cardinal’s Pennsylvania region, with responsibility for strengthening areas including:

• Resident assessments and care planning


• Medication management


• Clinical documentation and PointClickCare


• Changes in condition and incident management


• Admissions, discharges, and hospital transitions


• Infection prevention and regulatory compliance


• Director of Wellness coaching and development


• Clinical audits, risk identification, and corrective action


• Standardization of clinical processes across communities

The goal is not to become the person every community calls to fix everything.

The goal is to build stronger systems and stronger Directors of Wellness so our communities can execute at a high level consistently.

You’ll need:

• Active, unrestricted LPN or RN license with ability to practice as required in Pennsylvania


• At least 2 years of senior living experience


• Strong knowledge of assessments, care planning, medication management, documentation, resident care, and compliance


• Experience coaching, training, or leading nursing or care teams


• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to navigate complex situations


• Ability to influence leaders without relying on direct reporting authority


• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel approximately 70% throughout Pennsylvania, including periodic overnight travel

Experience as a Director of Wellness, Director of Nursing, regional clinical leader, or similar clinical leadership role is strongly preferred.

PointClickCare and multi-site experience are a plus, but we’ll teach the right clinical leader our systems.
