Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take food or beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and quality presentation.
• Upsell menu items by suggesting additional products or upgrades to enhance customer experience.
• Handle cash register operations, processing cash transactions, credit card payments, and managing cash handling duties with precision.
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols; ensure all food handling practices meet health standards.
• Restock supplies, organize inventory, and assist in food preparation to keep the service area organized and efficient.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast-food environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales and managing customer orders.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude that encourages repeat visits.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while maintaining sanitation standards.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing sales accurately.
• Previous retail or grocery store experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
